  • The Bureau Dentium is the branch of the Department of Wonder responsible for all things tooth-related. It's made up of two main groups: the Customs House of Weights & Measures (that’s the tooth fairies) and the Rodentia Collectiva (the mice, of course). Together, they collect teeth, track enamel patterns, deliver coins, keep ledgers, and quietly preserve the wishes left behind. Every lost tooth becomes a tiny archive entry, logged with care and tucked into a network that spans the globe—delicate, hidden, and very, very organized. Not everyone believes in them. That’s fine. They’re used to working in secret.

  • The Concordia Temporum is a very special team that helps the seasons know when to change. They meet only four times a year—at the very moment winter becomes spring, or summer turns to fall. Each member represents part of the year, like chilly winter mornings, rainy spring days, golden autumn leaves, or the longest light of summer. They don’t control the weather exactly, but they do help time move the way it’s supposed to—gently, carefully, and with just the right amount of wonder. Some carry lanterns. Some carry frost. Some carry keys. Most people never notice them. But if you feel the air shift, or see the light change just so—you might be closer than you think.

  • The Cryptid Affairs Division is the branch of the Department of Wonder that looks after the creatures most people think are just myths. It houses two secretive departments: the Umbrae Antiquae, protectors of ancient beings like Bigfoot and other shadowy forest dwellers—and the Liminal Collective, guardians of unusual in-between creatures like Mothman, the Jersey Devil, and the Snallygaster. Some are quiet. Some are curious. Some just want to be left alone (especially if you’re out of marshmallows). But all of them deserve kindness, protection, and a place in the story. Cryptid Affairs keeps their whereabouts safe, their records hidden, and their legends gently alive—just enough for the world to keep wondering.

  • Ki Sipa is a circle of seasonal stewards who listen closely to the land. They do not shift the seasons like Concordia Temporum, nor do they operate from grand offices or secret tunnels. Instead, they walk the ridgelines, tend to forests, rivers, and meadows, and keep watch over natural places where the wild still whispers. Their names are old. Their work is quiet. And their presence is felt in things like the return of birdsong, the curl of new leaves, or the shimmer of frost before sunrise. They are not bound to folklore—but to rhythm, responsibility, and the slow language of the earth. Most people never meet a member of Ki Sipa. But the land always knows when they’ve passed through.

  • The Hiemal Concord is the winter branch of the Department of Wonder. Its members are figures of frost, snow, stars, and story—gift-bringers, guardians, and cold-weather caretakers from across the world. Some wear red coats. Some carry lanterns. Some arrive in sleighs, some in silence. Together, they tend to the magic of midwinter: the hush, the wonder, the generosity, and the deep, quiet awe that winter brings. They do not rush. They do not brag. But they are everywhere when the world begins to glow. Not all of them are cheerful. Not all of them are kind. But they are bound by something older than celebration—something colder, and deeply bright.

  • The Vernal Accord is the spring branch of the Department of Wonder. Its members are caretakers of growth, renewal, and joy—the bringers of blossoms, the watchers of eggs, the guardians of kindness and chaos in equal measure. They arrive with the thaw, move with the wind, and leave behind trails of seeds, sugar, and something a little strange. The Vernal Accord is made up of many voices: witches and rabbits, doves and dogs, bells that fly, and animals that carry out improbable springtime duties with great pride. It’s a little noisy. A little unruly. And absolutely bursting with life.

  • Curia Domum Within the quiet rhythms of daily life, the Curia Domum keeps the world gently in motion. Composed of three cooperative branches—Curia Domestica (Hearth & Home), Curia Ordinis (Maintenance & Upkeep), and Curia Scriptorium (Books & Records)—its members are caretakers, tidiers, cataloguers, and keepers of comfort. From enchanted mops to whispering archives, the Curia Domum ensures that every corner, cupboard, and ledger remains ready for wonder.

  • Somnaria The veil between waking and dreaming is where Somnaria makes its home. This division watches over the world of slumber—guarding quiet minds, weaving gentle visions, and guiding wanderers through the shifting mists of rest. Its two branches, the Noctis Conservatory and the Lucent Loom, work in tandem: one tending to sleep’s deep silences, the other to the shimmer of dream and inspiration. From starlit paths to lucid keys, Somnaria ensures the night remains a place of refuge, reflection, and quiet wonder.
